Data Engineer (3-5 years):

Your role:

  • Design and deliver digital solutions
  • Develop robust, end-to-end data pipelines to feed downstream analytics and clinical data use cases. (Automated data pipelines would be an added advantage)
  • Collaborate with operational teams to understand and prioritize user requirements, formulate clear development roadmaps, perform testing and validation, and deploy digital solutions aimed at improving quality, increasing labor efficiency, and/or maximizing production capacity.
  • Own and improve existing solutions, and act as the technical point of contact for users.
  • Manage change control processes and communication with business groups impacted by solutions to ensure alignment between all parties and proper documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, or computer science
  • 2+ years of industry experience in data-engineering, data science, or data analytics function
  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering and pipeline development using Python, Spark, and/or SQL
  • Proficient in using Python to perform data engineering, statistical modeling, and data visualization
  • 1+ year(s) of experience with data visualization and dashboard design in Tableau and/or Spotfire
  • Experience in building R-Shiny apps is an advantage
  • Familiarity with common databases (e.g. JDBC, SQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle DB). Not all types required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of GxP/regulated environments would be an added advantage
  • Proficient in using Python to perform data engineering, statistical modeling, and data visualization
  • Experience using Palantir Foundry and/or similar analytics platforms (Preferable).
  • Experience using VCS (preferably GIT)
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Acts as business analyst for developing requirements
  • Capable of driving decision-making using data and visualization.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain solutions to non-technical business users.
  • Document technical work in a professional and transparent way. Create high quality technical documentation

Specific information related to the position:

  • Primary work location Bangalore. (Hybrid model)
  • Flexible to work in CEST andUS EST time zones

This position will be project based and may work across multiple smaller projects or a single large project utilizing an agile project methodology.
