Arolax Theme – WordPress Web Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arolax Theme – WordPress Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and customizing WordPress websites, from concept to completion. You will work closely with our design and content teams to create seamless and user-friendly websites that align with client requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
Convert PSD/Figma designs into fully functional WordPress websites.
Customize existing themes to meet the needs of clients.
Integrate and configure third-party plugins and APIs.
Optimize website performance for speed, scalability, and SEO.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues.
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to achieve project goals.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in WordPress and web development.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a WordPress Web Developer (portfolio required).
Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
Proficient in customizing WordPress themes and developing custom plugins.
Familiarity with website optimization techniques, including caching, minification, and image compression.
Experience with Git version control.
Understanding of SEO best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and AJAX.
Familiarity with WooCommerce development.
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Experience in integrating third-party services such as payment gateways and social media platforms.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred but not required).
