Clinical Documentation Specialist

Responsibilities: The Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS) facilitates accurate documentation of the severity of illness and quality of the medical record. This involves extensive record review, and interaction with physicians, health information management professionals, and nursing staff.

• Reviews medical record for completeness and accuracy for severity of illness (SOI) and quality
• Accurate and timely record review
• Recognize opportunities for documentation improvement

Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of clinical disease processes. A combination of 5 years of nursing or another clinical background, with Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), case management, inpatient coding, and completion of compliance courses. CCS preferred; CDIP- or CCDS-eligible desired.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From ₹100,000.00 per month
