This position is for the SCIEX team located at Danaher India Development Center (IDC), Bangalore
IDC is a research and development center with the vision of accelerating product roadmaps across various Danaher business segments. Starting in 2014, the center now hosts 500+ associates for multiple Danaher operating companies focusing on Diagnostics, Life Science, and Environmental and Applied Science segments. The operating companies include Beckman Coulter, Radiometer, Leica Biosystems, Digital Platform teams, Hach, Leica Microsystems, HemoCue, Videojet, Sciex, Laetus, IDBS, and Cepheid.
The IDC workforce comprises various product engineering teams developing software and hardware components of pioneering products for Immunoassay, Chemistry, Hematology, Molecular Diagnostics, Oncology, Neurosurgery, and Water Quality. IDC has evolved as a center of excellence for Cloud and data analytics, with significant contributions to vital informatics solutions. The teams consist of highly hardworking software & hardware engineers and development managers. The teams are supported by local Product managers, Quality & Regulatory, and Intellectual property specialists.
The in-house teams work in close coordination with other global R&D centers in the US, Canada, Europe, Japan, China, and Singapore. Located at the center of Bangalore IT HUB, IDC is housed at a brand-new facility measuring 120 K.
Position Description:
The Position of Internship Engineer: Test Automation reports to the Engineering Manager- Software Automation QA and work through hands-on development of our automation framework and test automation suite.
You will demonstrate your technical background to plan and conduct all levels of verification against our software products within an agile team development team. You will apply the necessary tools and agile processes to assist developers, ensure that the product conforms to the highest standards of customer expectations, and assist with evaluating and managing devices, frameworks, and verification environments.
The team member will be located in Bangalore and will closely collaborate with Toronto, Canada. Specific Responsibilities:
Automate the feature/modules as per the Manual protocols / the Automation Framework architecture and code inspections.
Develop and implement automated, manual test scripts/cases based on analyzed requirements.
Self-starter who is proactive and willing to take the initiative to get things done
Ensure compliance to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Required Skills:
Currently in school working to obtain a Bachleor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science & Engg (CSE), Computer Science & Information Security (CSIS), Computer Networking & Engg (CNE), Software Engg (SE) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with B.Sc Computer Science or Electronics.
Knowledge in Software Test automation
Exposure in C# and Java.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation interpersonal skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to view challenges as opportunities and be proactive in finding solutions
